Strategies to End Tuberculosis

India ranks 17th in incidence rate among the 22 high-burden tuberculosis (TB) countries in the world and according to World Health Organization (WHO) Global TB Report, 2015 accounted for 2.2 million cases of TB patients in 2014.

The International Union against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease held the 46th World Lung Conference in December 2015 at Cape Town, South Africa. It witnessed nearly 200 research papers being presented from India on different aspects of this disease.
